Privacy policy

How we handle information.

Effective August 24, 2026.

Arcanist uses information to provide code review, QA testing, account access, support, and service security. The information we process depends on how you use the service and which repositories and integrations your workspace connects.

Information we collect and why

We may process account details, workspace membership, repository metadata, pull request content, source code needed for a requested session, prompts, test output, session logs, and product usage records. We use this information to authenticate users, run requested reviews and tests, return results, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve service reliability. We also receive information that you send to our team through email or meeting forms.

Sharing, storage, and security

We share information with service providers only when they help us operate Arcanist, such as infrastructure, model, authentication, and monitoring providers. We do not sell personal information. Access is limited to people and systems that need it for the stated purpose. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored and transmitted information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your choices

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods can differ by data type and customer agreement. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and contractual limits. Workspace administrators may also control repository access and integrations.
